        It all started when...

Janelle's mother, Wanda Phillips asked “What do you want to be when you grow up?”

Not fully understanding the impact of her conviction she answered:

“I am going to be a singer for God.”

Her mother followed up, “…well what else if that doesn’t work?” Janelle confirmed,“…nothing, God said that’s what I am gonna do.”

Currently serving in the United States Army as a Medical Human Resource Manager, Janelle seeks out all possibilities to minister her gifts and talents for the Lord.

During her tenure at Lincoln University of Mo she began her road to ministry as a lead vocalist for New Foundation Deliverance Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Antonio Moton. It was there she learned the importance of having a holistic approach to ministry: In order to establish an atmosphere of worship you have to be able to sense and meet the needs of God’s children through intercession, prayer, and biblical understanding.

In June 2015, while serving a tour in Kuwait and Afghanistan, Janelle accepted a calling to ministry as the Assistant Choir Director where she began crafting the foundation of her first album. Additionally, Janelle served over the women’s ministry, “Women of Virtue”, while deployed realizing her love and passion for women’s mentorship.

As a result, in February of 2017 she hosted her first webinar series “Falling in Love With Me” which was a huge success in cultivating a deeper understanding of the virtuous woman and loving yourself: past, present and future!

Janelle continues to seek opportunities to develop herself and others as she says:

“Let my iron sharpen your iron and your iron sharpen my iron so we both can move toward the higher calling of glory!”
